Description

The introduction of a strengthened SIP 11 in 2018 placed increase emphasis on the need for robust financial controls within IP practices. It also makes clear the Regulators' expectations that controls should be reviewed at least annually. We see similar annual review requirements in related compliance areas, rendering the production of an annual compliance statement an essential risk management strategy for all sizes of IP practice.

This workshop adopts a practical and interactive approach to identifying what proportionate and appropriate controls look like for different types and sizes of practice. It will help you to implement these into your firm and periodically review their effectiveness as part of a broader internal annual compliance review.
