We pride ourselves on the quality of our material, the depth of our practical experience as IPs and our ability to translate both into exam success for candidates. Invest in the future with ISS Training.
Our JIE courses are structured in three-day modules and designed to cover the relevant legislation and the exam syllabus in depth. We include detailed notes to aid learning and revision, and we also look at practical issues faced when taking appointments, current issues in insolvency and the impact of recent judicial decisions.
Our programme also includes two sets of mock exams, which we will mark and return with individual written comments on technical ability and exam technique. We also provide individual coaching and support self-study throughout the year and run weekly online revision sessions in the months leading to the exams.
Candidates will be examined on legislation in force as at 30 April 2023.
Candidates require to register as a student with a Recognised Professional Body(RPB) of their choice. Contact the relevant RPB for more details. On successful completion of both exams, candidates may then apply to the RPB for their licence, subject to their requirements for membership and authorisation. Successful completion of one exam allows an application for Partial Licensing.
The exam is structured in two papers: Corporate and Personal. This aligns the exam with the Partial Licence options now available. You can choose to sit one or both papers in any sitting.
Candidates need to enrol for the exam through your RPB. Contact your RPB for details or check www.jieb.co.uk. Exam entries need to be submitted by mid-September 2023 at the latest, for an exam diet in early November 2023.
The speakers will be recognised experts in the field of insolvency practice led by the principal trainer Eileen Maclean MA Hons, MIPA MABRP MBA, director of Insolvency Support Services Limited.
Please note that Day 1 and Day 2 of Module 1 Foundations are optional depending on a candidate’s experience and prior qualifications. Each individual day’s training is priced at £330 + VAT. The Full Corporate Only course price is stated excluding these days.
Corporate Paper Only: 14 days £4,000 + VAT
If you are sitting Corporate following an exam pass in Personal, there is no need to reattend Module 1 Foundations Day 3 or Module 6 Cross Procedural, unless you wish to do so. In either scenario, the price is:
Corporate only as second paper: 10 days £3,000 + VAT
(If you wish to book as a second paper, please email firstname.lastname@example.org)
