In this webinar we will look at recent statutory changes to the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 and anticipated changes to the protected trust deed process set out in the draft Protected Trust Deeds (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024. We will look at the corresponding changes to SIP 3.3 and consider the impact of both on the AiB’s PTD Protocol.

In it we will examine the consequences of a formal insolvency appointment or restructuring process for the bank or lender. Ultimately this is about understanding a lender’s options, the rights that you hold as a result of your security package and improving your lending decisions.
